An American aide memoire or minaudiere, of convex rectangular form having engraved initials to the exterior, opening to reveal dual graduated coin apertures above hinged compartment having removable ivorine leaves, and trefoil paper or money clip. American marks for Webster Company, North Attleboro, Massachusetts, also marked sterling. Length excluding suspension chain 3 4/8 inches (9 cm), gross weight 2.8 ozt (89 grams).

Overall fair condition displaying few bumps and dints to the exterior with light scratches. Hinge in working order. Coin apertures 2cm and 1.5cm diameter. Marks worn but legible, matching marks to interior compartment with heavy rubbing. Interior with light tarnishing and signs of use.
