Lot Description

A George III silver snuff box engraved to one side with a floral festoon and to the reverse with a radiating sun, hallmarks probably for Thomas Willmore, Birmingham 1802, length measuring 6 cm. Together with two further snuff boxes to include one William IV example hallmarked Francis Clark, Birmingham and the second with maker's mark only S&S. Gross weight 4.5 ozt (142 grams). (3).

In slightly varying condition, all display general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. The hinge to the first example is damaged and has been repaired in in the past. William IV example has an engraved cartouche. City hallmark missing from the first George III example, date letter worn to teh William IV example and maker's mark only to the third example.
