A late Victorian silver claret jug, the cut-glass shaped body rising to the angular silver mounted handle, collar and flat hinged cover. Hallmarked A & J Zimmerman Ltd (Arthur & John Zimmerman), Birmingham 1900. Height measuring 8 3/4 inches (22.5 cm).
