A Victorian silver vinaigrette, the oval form within scalloped edge and scroll surround to the hinge cover with engraved scene of a lake view and opening to a scroll pierced grille, further personal engraving to the underside. Hallmarked Edward Smith, 1846. Length measuring 3.5 cm, weight 16.7 grams.
