A George III silver christening mug, the slightly tapering form with reeded banding and name engraving, hallmarked Duncan Urquhart & Naphtali Hart, London 1809, height measuring 2 3/4 inches (7 cm). Together with a 1920's silver christening mug with cut-card work mounted base and initial engraving, hallmarked James Deakin & Sons (John & William F Deakin), Sheffield 1924 and a Victorian silver christening mug with name inscription, hallmarked W H Lyde, Birmingham 1897. Gross silver weight 10.7 ozt (337 grams). (3).

Condition Report
In varied state. The 1920's example has an area where the silver is particularly dimpled, also compression to the foot and the mug wobbles. Hallmarks overall are clear and legible.
