A composite early 20th century gold gem-set necklace. The 9ct gold opal and split pearl stylised bow pendant, with 18ct gold split and seed pearl floral surmount, similarly-set scrolling foliate sides and 15ct gold integral belcher-link. One opal and one split pearl deficient. Length of pendant 2.9cms. Length of chain 36.5cms. Total weight 8.4gms.

<li> Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. <p>
<li> Comprised of components of a similar age. <p>
<li> Opals vary in appearance with a white body colour and fairly good play-of-colour, the oval cabochon shows predominately green hues, with noticeable flat patches, with the smaller circular cabochons showing a range of hues with red patches. <p>
<li> Split and seed pearls vary in appearance with white and creamy-white hues and fair to muted lustre. <p>
<li> Stones in mostly good condition with some split pearls in fair condition with some abrasion.<p>
<li> Pendant stamped 9ct. Floral surmount stamped 18ct. Clasp stamped 15ct. <p>
