A 9ct gold zircon and amethyst brooch. The bicolour foliate spray with circular-shape blue zircon and vari-shape amethyst highlights. Maker's marks for Alabaster & Wilson. Hallmarks for 9ct gold, indistinct. Length 6.9cms. Weight 12.1gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Amethysts medium purple, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Zircons medium slight greenish blue, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>
<li>Stamped 375.
