An early Victorian turquoise and garnet hinged snake bangle. Designed as a pave-set serpent head and similarly-set coiled bangle, with circular garnet cabochon eyes. Inner diameter 5.5cms. Total weight 32.9gms.

<li> Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear. <p>
<li>Few replacement blue paste.
<li>Some soft solder.
<li> Clasp tight and operates with a little difficulty. <p>
<li> Head and tail loose where joined. <p>
<li> Turquoise vary in appearance, ranging from bright medium blue to greenish-blue and bluish-green, well saturated, with mostly good clarity and some with typical dark surface reaching inclusions. <p>
<li> Garnet fairly dark slightly purplish-red, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions. <p>
<li> Stones in mostly good condition with minor abrasions, some turquoise show fairly noticeable chips and abrasion. <p>
