An early 19th century gold foil-back aquamarine pendant. Designed as a vari-size foil-back aquamarine cross, with cannetille surround and similarly-designed surmount. May be worn as a brooch. AF. Length 6cms. Weight 12.1gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li> Side section detailing deficient.<p>
<li> Brooch pin does not clip easily, fitting in need of attention.<p>
<li> Areas of discolouration to metal surrounding the principal stone.<p>
<li> Possible replacement surmount.<p>
<li> Some dents and scratches to the reverse of the brooch.<p>
<li>Aquamarine medium slighy greyish blue, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>
