Lot Description
A late Victorian gold amethyst brooch. Designed as a textured flower, with pear-shape amethyst, scroll and bead radial surround, suspending a purple paste detachable drop. Length 6.7cms. Weight 13.5gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Replacement gems.
<li>Slight soft solder visible.
<li>One of the bead trefoil terminals has been re-attached.
<li>Amethyst are a fairly well matched light slightly pinkish purple hue. The purple paste is a deeper, slightly darker hue.
