Lot Description
A late Victorian gold diamond locket, with 15ct gold chain, circa 1880. The old-cut diamond star-set oval-shape locket, with cannetille surrounds and monogram reverse, suspended from a double cable-link chain. Estimated diamond weight 0.30ct, L-tinted colour, P1 clarity. Length of locket 5.7cms. Length of chain 44cms. Total weight 55gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Located scratches to locket.
<li>A small part of the surface gilt has come away, to an area near the hinge. This is not easily noticeable.
<li>Diamond bright and lively with a yellow tint and dark scattered inclusions present.<p>
<li>Chain stamped 15ct.
