Lot Description
A late Victorian gold, diamond, ruby and enamel stickpin. Comprising two ruby and blue enamel and old-cut diamond interlocking horseshoes, enclosing an old-cut diamond with blue enamel scalloped mount. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.60ct, tinted colour, P1 clarity. Length of stickpin head 2cms. Weight 9.1gms. With case.

<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Pin slightly bent.
<li>Possible replacement gems.
<li>Diamonds bright and well matched.
<li>Principal diamond tinted light yellow with surface reaching feathers and other smaller, scattered inclusions.
<li>Individual size and setting of non-principal diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Rubies are a well matched medium pinkish red hue.
<li>Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>
<li>Nicks and small, shallow chips to the enamel.
