ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster wrist watch. 9ct yellow gold case, import hallmarked Glasgow 1937. Reference 2949, serial 39996. Signed manual wind movement. Silvered dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. 30mm.

<li>Movement is currently functioning. However switching to hand set is not positive and may indicate an issue with the keyless works.
<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches.
<li>Hands show marks and tarnishing with discolouration to the luminous paint.
<li>Glass has scratches and marks.
<li>Case shows scratches, marks and dints.
<li>Crown has scratches and marks with wear to the plating. It does not screw down. The thread is gone in both the crown and on the pendant tube.
<li>Strap shows marks and creasing.
<li>Buckle appears to be in good condition with minor marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.<p>
