Lot Description
ROLEX - a gentleman's Prince wrist watch. Stainless steel case. Reference 971, serial 010584. Signed manual wind movement, numbered 76725. Discoloured dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. Fitted to an unsigned brown leather strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 23mm. <li>Movement is currently functioning.
<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
<li>Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches. Dial is discoloured and tarnished.
<li>Hour hand shows noticeable tarnishing, discolouration and signs of rust. Minute hand is missing.
<li>Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.
<li>Case shows light scratches and marks. Case back has had third party work to fit an inner surround to securely hold the movement. Possible replacement part.
<li>Third party crown has scratches and marks.
<li>Strap shows marks and creasing.
<li>Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.<p>
