Lot Description
A silver pair case pocket watch by Benjamin Webb. Silver case, hallmarked London, date rubbed. Signed key wind full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement and pierced balance cock. White dial with subsidiary dial to three with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six, compass to nine. Inner case 54mm, outer case missing. Together with a silver Albert chain with fob.

<li>Movement is currently functioning. We have been unable to test the accuracy of the compass.
<li>Movement is worn with some surface rust and noticeable scratches and marks visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial has a series of hairline cracks.
<li>Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Second hand is a possible replacement.
<li>Glass has scratches and marks. The glass is heavily scuffed. When the dial is viewed through the glass it appears dull and cloudy.
<li>Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Outer case is missing.
<li>Hinges appear intact.
<li>The chain and attached fobs show very heavy discolouration, tarnishing and scratches.The main fob shows a heavy impact mark.
