A pair case pocket watch by Adams & Hotham. Silver cases, hallmarked London 1797. Signed key wind full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement. White enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numeral hour markers. Outer case 56mm.

<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial has a series of hairline cracks.
<li>Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Hour hand is broken from boss, remains of old glue noticeable.
<li>Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.
<li>Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints.
<li>Hinges appear intact.
<p>This lot comes with an incomplete box showing heavy wear but no papers.<p>
