Lot Description
A pair case pocket watch by Henry Wharton. Silver cases, hallmarked London 1769. Signed key wind full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement, pierced balance cock and square baluster pillars. White enamel dial. Outer case 49mm. Together with a gilt pair case pocket watch by Robert Allam. All recommended for spares or repair purposes only.

<li>Movement is not currently functioning.
<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Movement appears to be fully wound but is not delivering power through the train.
<li>Dial appears to be in a poor condition with noticeable marks and damage to the enamel. Multiple cracks are present with several hairline cracks and areas of the enamel that have broken away completely.
<li>Hands show noticeable tarnishing, discolouration and signs of rust. One hand is missing in entirety.
<li>Glass has scratches and marks.
<li>Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints.
<li>Hinges have some play.
<li>Included pair case pocket watch is not currently functioning and is second hand condition with heavy wear, cracks are present to the dial as well as damage to the enamel and a pronounced chip between two and three. Movement has marks and scratches with some visible tarnishing.
<p>This lot does not come with box or papers.<p>
