Lot Description
HERMÈS - a rare vintage box calf envelope handbag. Crafted from smooth black box calf leather, featuring an optional flat leather handle, top flap closure with gunmetal pin fastening, opening to multiple interior slip pockets and one small patch pocket. Measuring 2 by 16.5 by 25cms. With maker's dust bag.

Condition Report
The handbag is in good overall condition showing signs of light use. The exterior leather holds strong colour without visible fading, it holds a light scattering of surface scratches over the body of the bag and some impression marks around the fastening. The handle is in very good condition with light creasing where held. The metalwork retains plating and high polish with very few hairline scratches. All fastenings are fully working. The interior leather is in good condition with a scattering of surface scratches. Stamped J in a box - circa 2006.
