Lot Description
A late Victorian silver and gold, diamond pendant. The textured snake with rose-cut diamond crest and demantoid garnet eyes, entwined with rose-cut diamond stems, to the pear-shape rose-cut diamond drop. May be worn as a brooch. Length 5.5cms. Total weight 16.6gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Drop is detachable.
<li>Brooch fittings possible replacements. Soft solder and glue-like substances visible.
<li>Diamonds well matched.
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Principal diamond estimated dimensions 7.7 by 5.4 by 2mms.
<li>Principal diamond with facet-edge abrasion and small nick.
<li>Demantoid garnets are a well matched, vibrant, yellowy green hue.
