An Edwardian 15ct gold gem-set necklace. Of openwork design, the floral and geometric seed, split pearl and demantoid garnet drop, suspended from a similarly-set scrolling floral and lattice graduated line, with rope-twist back-chain. Length 42cms. Weight 27.3gms.

Condition Report
<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Pendant is detachable from the main necklace.
<li>Although similarly-set and of similar design, the two pieces do not match.
<li>The pendant is attached by a later base metal jump ring.
<li>All components stamped 15ct.
<li>Demantoid garnets are a vibrant yellow green and moderately vibrant yellowish green hue, well matched to each piece.
<li>Mostly minor abrasion, few with small nicks and moderate abrasion.
<li>Seed pearls untested for natural origin.
<li>Seed and split pearls are well matched, with minor discolouration.
<li>Later safety chain and clasp to the back of the necklace.
<li>Length of pendant (excluding surmount loop 3.2cms.
