An early 20th century 18ct gold sapphire and diamond ring. The twin square-shape sapphires, with single-cut diamond scalloped surround. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Ring size M1/2. Weight 3.5gms.

<li>Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/wear and several dents throughout the band, in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Gallery is bent and has noticeable discolouration, especially visible nearer to the shoulders.
<li>Band is significantly out of shape.
<li>Band shows evidence of resize, soldering line is visible.
<li>Diamonds well matched.
<li>Diamonds bright.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Sapphires are a medium blue, well saturated, with good clarity, colour zoning and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Sapphires are in good condition with minor abrasions to the surface and crown facet edges.<p>
<li>Length of ring head 1.8cms.
<li>Stamped 18CT.
