Lot Description

A pair of 18ct gold black opal and diamond earrings. Each designed as a pear-shape opal cabochon, with brilliant-cut diamond surround, suspended from a trace-link chain and similarly-cut diamond surmount. Estimated total diamond weight 0.80ct. Import marks for London, 1976. Length 2.8cms. Weight 4.8gms.

<li>Diamonds in good condition, one with a small dark inclusion visible through the table facet.

<li>Opals with good play of colour, showing flashes of green and blue with with minor surface scratches.<p>
