An early 20th century 18ct gold sapphire and diamond ring. The rectangular-shape sapphire, with old-cut diamond duo sides and openwork scrolling gallery. Estimated total diamond weight 0.70ct, I-J colour, SI2-P2 clarity. Ring size N1/2. Weight 2.8gms.

<li>Overall condition good to fair. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Sapphire dark blue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Sapphire in fair condition with noticeable abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>
