An early Victorian Sri Lanka colour-change sapphire and diamond heart ring. The pear-shape sapphire, weighing 1.77cts, with graduated old-cut diamond surround and rose-cut diamond crossed arrow motif surmount. With report 14326, dated 16th June 2017, from The Gem & Pearl Lab, stating Sri Lanka, no heat. Estimated total diamond weight 1.20cts. Ring size M. Weight 4.4gms.

Condition Report
<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Crossed arrow motif believed later addition. Band possible replacement.
<li>Diamonds well matched.
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>SOme diamonds with nicks and small chips. Some surface reaching inclusions.
<li>Sapphire is a pale, medium moderately purplish blue hue. Large central window effect. The sapphire has a small natural surface indent to one facet.
<li>Dimensions of ring head excluding arrows 1.5 by 1.6cms. Including the arrows 1.5 by 2cms.
