Lot Description
ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster Perpetual wrist watch. Circa 1952. Stainless steel case. Reference 6105, serial 799343. Signed automatic A.296 calibre. Black dial with chevron hour markers, date aperture to three. Fitted to an unsigned brown leather strap with signed stainless steel pin buckle. 35mm. <li>Movement is currently functioning.
<li>Movement is worn with some surface rust and noticeable scratches and marks visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial appears to be in a poor condition with noticeable marks, scratches, tarnishing, some lifting of the laminate. The dial has been repainted. The repainting has subsequently cracked and is in a very poor condition.
<li>Hands show marks and tarnishing with discolouration to the luminous paint.
<li>Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
<li>Case shows scratches, marks and dints.
<li>Crown has noticeable scratches and dinting. Possible replacement crown.
<li>Strap shows marks and creasing.
<li>Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.<p>
