Lot Description

An early 20th century peridot and split pearl necklace. The rectangular-shape peridot and split pearl scrolling floral drop, suspended from similarly-set sides and integral trace-link chain. Length 45cms. Weight 7.4gms. With fitted case.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Fitted case has loose inner lining.

<li>Peridot are a bright green, well saturated, with good clarity, doubling of back facets and typical inclusions.<p>

<li>Peridot are in good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>

<li>One of the peridots is a truncated rectangle.

<li>Estimated dimensions of the two peridot are 7 by 5 by 4mms and 5 by 5 by 4mms.

<li>Length of pendant section 3.7cms.
