<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Bangle has been recently cleaned to a high finish.<p>

<li>Discolouration to shoulders suggests that some components may be replacements.<p>

<li>Foliate drop is a later addition.<p>

<li>Some gems possible replacements.<p>

<li>Garnets deep purplish to orangy red hue, well saturated, with typical inclusions.<p>

<li>One garnet fractured.<p>

<li>Inscription to inside of the back half of the bangle reads 'In memory of M. M. Butts. 1836'.<p>
