A late Victorian gold garnet and split pearl hinged bangle. The oval-shape garnet quatrefoil and split pearl cross, set atop the engraved foliate panel and plain half-bangle. Inner diameter 5.7cms. Weight 17.3gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Numerous scratches and discolouration throughout the bangle.
<li>Centre piece possible later addition / replacement.
<li>Garnets are a medium purple, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Garnets are in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>
<li>Noticeable dents to mounts.
<li>Split pearls are a creamy white colour, with rose and greenish overtones.
<li>Width at widest 2.4cms.
<li>With safety chain, which requires attention and repair to the one attachment.<p>
