A late Victorian gold and diamond brooch. Designed as a serpentine dragon, with old-cut diamond terminal tongue, pierced by a spear. French assay marks to pin. Length 3.9cms. Weight 7.3gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>One wing appears repaired, uneven to the reverse, slight discolouration to the front.
<li>Hook to reverse to suspend watch or similar.
<li>Estimated diamond weight 0.07ct, scattered dark inclusions.<p>
<li>Size and setting of diamond prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>The eye appears set with a heavily abraded gem or enamel (or dirt).
