An early 20th century platinum and 18ct gold amethyst and diamond hinged bangle. The graduated circular-shape amethyst line, with single-cut diamond spacers, to the openwork bangle. Estimated total diamond weight 0.45ct. Inner diameter 6.2cms. Weight 15.9gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Bangle slightly off round, with small dents.
<li>Would recommend attention to all settings as some claws deficient/worn.
<li>Diamonds well matched.
<li>Diamonds fairly bright.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>One diamond with small chip to pavillion.
<li>Amethyst are a medium purple, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Amethyst are in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>
<li>With safety clasp.<p>
<li>Width 7mms.
<li>Electronically tests as 18KT gold and PLATINUM.
