A good pair of Chinese porcelain vases and covers. Probably late Qianlong/Jiaqing, circa 1800, each of hexagonal baluster form, the domed cover with well-modelled seated dog of Fo finial over orange decoration en-cameau,the bodies each with conforming waisted neck over panels of figures finely painted in the famille rose palette, unmarked, 14", (35.5cm) high.

Wear to gilding between panels and especially at shoulder. Some old flake losses to enamel colouring (drapery, green tufts at bases of panels), otherwise no chips, cracks or restoration.
