A late 19th century Meissen porcelain figure group. Modelled as a young courting couple, she standing playing a mandolin, a floral garland around her neck, wearing a plumed bonnet, he seated holding a bouquet, the pair flanking two wheat sheaves, on naturalistic oval base with palmette frieze, incised number G92 and impressed 97 beneath, underglaze blue crossed swords mark, 6", (15cm) high.
