A early Victorian yellow metal retractable pencil in the form of an umbrella or parasol. The shaped handle with Design Registration lozenge for 6th September 1844, the closed parasol with band of small turquoise cabochons, unmarked but tests around 9ct, 2.25", (5.7cm) long.
