Lot Description

Two late 19th century games boxes. The first having a hinged chess board top enclosing gilt-stamped red morocco games board over compartmentalised interior with cribbage board, two Bezique markers, part set of 23 bone dominoes, red-stained and natural part chess set, counters, full size and miniature playing cards, etc, 12" square x 3" high, (30cm x 7.5cm), together with a second smaller games box with chess board exterior enclosing backgammon board and turned wooden draughts pieces, (2).

1. Pin missing to one hinge. Edges of morocco board are scuffed. Dominoes and chess set are noth incomplete, and latter is also at fault. Card sets uncollated, sold as seen.

2. No catch to box. Rubbing to exterior. 25 pieces to interior, some with damage. Sold as seen.
