A small 19th century gilt metal casket, the rectangular hinged cover decorated with a panel of birds to tops top, when lifted activating a concealed mechanical musical mechanism and revealing storage area within, the front back and sides with conforming panel decoration, the whole raised upon four bun shaped feet, 5" (12.75cm) wide.
