Smetham-Jones, (Exh. 1887-1893), A portrait of a lady, depicted bust-length with lace-trimmed dress, wearing a spray of Narcissus or miniature Daffodils, seated against a blue throw and gilt background, watercolour heightened with white, signed and dated 1889 upper left, 19.75" x 12.75", (50cm x 32.5cm), in gilt slip, gilt oak surround and leaf-moulded outer frame (a/f) under glass.
