Richard Caton Woodville, (1856-1927), A Dandy Cavalier, posing beside a building with plumed hat, walking cane, basket-hilt sword, purple stockings and bold red ribbons, oil on panel, signed and dated 1904 lower left, 11.5" x 8.5", (29cm x 21.5cm), in original foliate scroll-moulded gilt frame with three labels of Roberson & Co., M. Newman Ltd. and Haynes Fine Art respectively.
