An early 19th century inlaid mahogany-cased 8-day painted dial longcase clock. The 12-inch Roman dial with subsidiary seconds dial and calendar crescent, indistinctly signed ('Harker & Son Stalbridge?)' within shell spandrels, the arch with rolling moon phase decorated with cattle and a ploughing scene, the knopped four-pillar movement with Finnemore false plate, rack-striking on a bell, the case with swan-neck pediment and wavy-edged hood door between turned columns, the inlaid short trunk door between fluted canted corners on plain base, 84", (213cm) high.

Dial - general crazing. Name faded. Calendar dial hand missing.
Movement - appears sound but not tested and sold as seen. Sold with weights and pendulum.
Case - later finial and hood door handle. Minor cracking to canted trunk corners. Horizontal crease across base. Missing its feet. Otherwise general light wear.
