A late Victorian/Edwardian lady's inlaid satinwood folding writing table or desk, of Sheraton revival style, the top with inlaid bat's wing patera over conforming rectangular fall front, enclosing drawers and pigeon holes over gilt stamped green morocco writing surface within inlaid surround, raised upon inlaid end standards and sledge feet with plain stretcher, 20" x 48" (51cm x 122cm).

Minor rippling to fall veneer, horizontal crack to one quarter of main patera, crack to green morocco skiver, shrinkage and vertical cracks to rear panels plus minor warping, good overall colour.
