A Victorian Aesthetic style oak bookcase. The castellated cornice over four adjustable shelves (lacking support dowels) over a pair of planked cupboard doors with four Aesthetic style strap hinges each modelled as a flowering plant, flanking foliate escutcheons and enclosing a further shelf, the reeded ends extending as supports, 33.5" x 13" x 89.5" high, (85cm x 33cm x 227cm).

Open bookcase has two sockets at top for a brass rail, now missing. Shelves are present but are mising pegs to hold them. Several small losses to edges of frame. Please note - bookcase is a single section, does not come apart into two sections.
