A good mid Victorian red boule and inlaid brass mounted credenza, the breakfront rectangular top over acanthus cast frieze and central pair of finely decorated doors with masks, urns on pedestals, mythical birds, etc., highlighted in colours imitating pietra dura, all within brass line inlay, enclosing two conforming shelves, between a further pair of glazed cabinets, each with conforming border enclosing further matching shelves, on shaped aprons with cast flower heads flanking a central green man mask, the sides with further mask mounts, 68.25" x 16.5" x 42" (173cm x 42cm x 107cm).

Condition Report
Has probably had a marble top originally, now with later brass edged mahogany top beneath plate glass.
Central doors with minor lifting and losses, some brass missing to outer cabinet doors, sections of stringing dethatched but present.
May previously have been ebonised, now appears dark stained.
Small flaws and losses to tortoiseshell.
