A mid Victorian gold enamel heart locket. The black enamel heart, with initial M and engraved scrolling surround, to the glazed reverse. Length 2.4cms. Weight 4.1gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Enamel with moderate scratches, nicks and a chip to the top right lobe.
<li>Glass to reverse with significant abrasion in areas. Moderate wear to the mount.
