A mid Victorian gold mounted shell cameo brooch. Carved to depict Eros, or Cupid and Psyche in flight, with rope-twist surrounds. Length 5.7cms. Total weight 22.4gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches, minor discolouration and slight dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Discolouration to the white section of the cameo.
<li>Two fine cracks at approximately the 9 o clock position.
<li>His nose is nicked to the tip.
