An early 20th century 18ct gold opal and diamond cluster ring. The oval opal cabochon, with old-cut diamond surround and slightly tapered shoulders. Estimated dimensions of opal 9.6 by 7.9 by 3.7mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.70ct. Ring size Q. Weight 4.6gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Ring has been recently polished to a high finish.<p>

<li>Diamonds well matched.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Opal white body colour, with good play-of-colour displaying predominantly orange, green and blue hues.<p>
<li>Opal in good condition with fair polish, minor abrasion and darker dirt marks visible towards the edges.<p>
<li>Opal matrix recessed visible to back.<p>
