An early 20th century 18ct gold opal brooch. Of openwork design, the oval opal cabochon collet, with scrolling bead surround. Length 2.5cms. Weight 4.7gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>One bead with file marks. Some beads poorly cast, some small holes.
<li>Opal with good play of colour, flashes in a range of hues, in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>
<li>Estimated dimensions of opal 14 by 10.5 by 4.4mms.
