An early 20th century gold ruby and diamond ring. Of marquise-shape outline, the oval ruby cabochon, with old-cut diamond surround. Estimated total diamond weight 1.25cts. Ring size M. Weight 5.5gms. Weight 5.5gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Possible replacement band, discolouration at shoulders.
<li>Possible replacement gems.
<li>Diamonds bright and well matched.
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Moderate inclusions, mostly small feathers, some surface reaching. One small nick.
<li>The ruby is a medium, pinky red hue. Surface reaching inclusions, some iron onide staining, some silk-like inclusions.
<li>Estimated dimensions of ruby 7.6 by 5.5 by 3mms.
