A late Victorian garnet necklace. Comprising a graduated series of oval-shape garnet links, each with cannetille surround, to the similarly-set clasp. French assay marks. Length 38cms. Weight 28.9gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Clasp slightly loose, may require repair.
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Garnets are a well matched dark slightly orange-red to dark red colour, with good clarity and typical inclusions, some surface reaching.<p>
<li>Garnets generally in good condition with minor abrasions, one with small chip to one side.<p>
<li>Width 1.1cms.
