Lot Description
A pair case pocket watch by R Ovingham. Silver cases, hallmarked London 1778. Signed full plate key wind fusee and chain movement with verge escapement, pierced balance cock and square baluster pillars. White dial. Outer case 42mm. Recommended for spares or repair purposes only.

<li>Movement is not currently functioning.
<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial has a series of hairline cracks. Area of enamel has been removed near the nine o'clock hour marker.
<li>Hands show noticeable tarnishing, discolouration and signs of rust.
<li>Glass has scratches and marks.
<li>Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. Outer case shows heavy tarnishing with some evidence of repair to case back.
<li>Hinges have some play.
<p>This lot does not come with box or papers.<p>
