Lot Description
A pair case pocket watch by J.How. Silver cases with engraved monogram to the rear of the inner case, hallmarked London possibly 1809. Signed key wind full plated fusee and chain movement with verge escapement and pierced balance cock. White dial. Outer case 54mm.

<li>Movement is currently functioning.
<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial has a series of hairline cracks. There appears to be heavy wear and previous damage around the five and six o'clock hour markers, this appears to have had an amateur repair.
<li>Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Minute hand appears bent.
<li>Glass has scratches and marks.
<li>Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. Personal engraving to case back. Outer case shows scratches, marks, dints and tarnishing.
<li>Hinges appear intact.
