Lot Description
A late Victorian gold, garnet and agate sentimental brooch. The oval foil back garnet cabochon, with rope-twist and black enamel border, to the blue lace agate and scrolling foliate surround and glazed panel reverse. May be worn as a pendant. Length 4.2cms. Weight 20.5gms.

<li>Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Evidence of previous repair to back of mounts.<p>

<li>Appears to be re-enamelled. Enamel in good condition, with minor wear only.<p>
<li>Garnet is a deep pinkish red hue, with typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Stones in good condition with minor abrasions, agate with a few, small chips. Glue residue visible.<p>
